PR Newswire
ST-BRUNO-DE-MONTARVILLE, QC, Oct. 1, 2026
ST-BRUNO-DE-MONTARVILLE, QC, Oct. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — For almost 75 years, Master has evolved and grown while remaining true to what has made it unique. Today, the company marks an important milestone in that journey with the appointment of Rémy Langelier as President, effective immediately. He will succeed Louis St-Laurent as Chief Executive Officer in the first quarter of 2027, as Master builds on the entrepreneurial spirit that has long defined the company while pursuing its next phase of growth.

Louis will continue as Chief Executive Officer through the transition, then remain with Master through December 2027 in a mentoring role, supporting Rémy and the company’s C-suite as Master builds on the foundation already in place.
“Master is moving forward from a position of strength,” said Louis. “As I looked to the future of the company, it was important to me that our next leader understands our business, our people and the culture that has made Master successful. Rémy brings that depth and understanding, along with the experience, judgment and commitment to continue to lead Master forward. He will be supported by a strong and experienced leadership team, and I have tremendous confidence in him and the team around him.”
Rémy steps into the role with an established track record built inside Master including senior leadership responsibilities across technology, strategy and enterprise transformation. Most recently, he led the company’s enterprise transformation program, strengthening the capabilities foundational to Master’s continued growth across North America.
“I am excited and privileged to take on this responsibility,” said Rémy. “Master’s strength comes from its people, culture, customer and supplier relationships and deep knowledge of the markets we serve. My focus will be to build on that foundation and concurrently realize the many opportunities that lie ahead. I look forward to working closely with Louis and our leadership team as we continue to serve our customers and grow the business.”
The leadership transition reflects Master’s focus on continuity, building on the culture, relationships and strengths that have shaped the company while positioning it for its next phase of growth.
