PR Newswire
HOUSTON, Oct. 5, 2026
HOUSTON, Oct. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Logisnext Americas, one of the world’s leading manufacturers and providers of material handling, automation, and fleet solutions, hosted a princess-themed celebration on Sept. 30 for Elena, a six-year-old Make-A-Wish Texas Gulf Coast and Louisiana child living with leukemia. The event, held at Logisnext Americas’ newly built Customer Experience Center in Houston, included the surprise announcement that Elena’s wish for a family vacation is coming true.

The day featured many of Elena’s favorite activities and interests. A strong, fun-loving big sister to two brothers, she values time with her family and takes pride in cracking an egg all by herself. She is an avid hula hooper, gardener and princess fan. More recently, she has taken up sewing and enjoys exploring crafts.
“Seeing Elena’s reaction to the wish reveal was a special moment for our team,” said Berry Mansfield, president of Logisnext Americas. “We are proud to partner with Make-A-Wish Texas Gulf Coast and Louisiana and to play a part in bringing Elena’s wish to life.”
The afternoon began with welcoming remarks from representatives of Logisnext Americas and Make-A-Wish Texas Gulf Coast and Louisiana, during which they revealed to Elena and her family that her wish for a family vacation would come true, with the trip planned for the fall. The day was filled with princess-themed activities for Elena, her family and Logisnext Americas team members to partake in, including a princess dress-up station and a bracelet-making station. The Houston Humane Society also joined the celebration, bringing dogs for guests to meet that were available for adoption.
“We know that wishes have the wonderful power to unite communities with hope and joy, and Elena’s wish is a beautiful example of that, made possible through the generous support of Logisnext Americas,” said Shelly Millwee, President and CEO, Make-A-Wish Texas Gulf Coast and Louisiana. “We are grateful to Logisnext Americas for helping make Elena’s wish come true and for creating a day where she and her family could celebrate together and create lasting memories.”
