Longbridge Financial employees, joined by CEO Chris Mayer (left of center banner), hold cards with messages of connection and encouragement for older adults served by Meals on Wheels programs during a volunteer event at the company’s Houston office on Sept. 16, 2026. Longbridge became a corporate partner of Meals on Wheels America in 2026.
Longbridge announced today that it has earned Great Place To Work Certification™ for 2026, marking the fifth consecutive year the company has received the recognition. The certification is based entirely on what current employees say about their experience working at the company. This year, 94% of employees said Longbridge is a great place to work, reflecting growing employee satisfaction and continued confidence in the company’s workplace culture.
In addition to earning renewed Great Place to Work® certification, Longbridge was ranked No. 29 on Fortune’s 2026 list of the Top 50 Best Small and Medium Workplaces in Financial Services and Insurance in the U.S., rising from No. 48 last year.
For Longbridge, that employee experience is closely connected to the company’s broader mission of supporting homeowners 55+. In 2026, Longbridge became a corporate partner of Meals on Wheels America, extending that commitment to older homeowners beyond the financial services Longbridge provides. Through the partnership, Longbridge employees have opportunities to participate directly in volunteer activities, including writing messages of connection and encouragement for older adults served by Meals on Wheels programs nationwide.
“Longbridge was built around a very clear purpose: helping homeowners 55+ have more financial options and greater confidence as they age,” said Chris Mayer, CEO of Longbridge Financial. “Our employees are the ones who bring that mission to life every day, whether they are serving our customers, supporting one another or finding new ways to give back to the communities we serve. Having our own people say Longbridge is a great place to work makes this recognition especially meaningful.”
The results offer a broader look at how employees experience the company. In addition to the 94% who said Longbridge is a great place to work, 98% said they are proud to tell others they work at the company, 98% said people are made to feel welcome when they join, and 98% said they are able to take time off when they believe it is necessary.
Employees also expressed strong confidence in the organization and the work they do for its customers. Ninety-seven percent said customers would rate the service Longbridge delivers as “excellent,” while 96% said management is competent at running the business.
“Culture is built through the experience people have with one another every day,” said Melissa Macerato, co-founder and chief revenue and marketing officer at Longbridge Financial. “We want people to feel welcomed, supported in doing their best work and connected to why that work matters. Seeing that 98% of our employees are proud to tell others they work at Longbridge is incredibly meaningful because that pride comes directly from our people.”
Great Place To Work Certification is based on employee feedback about workplace culture and the employee experience. According to Great Place To Work, Certification is the only official recognition earned through real-time feedback from employees about their company culture.
“Great Place To Work Certification is a highly coveted achievement that requires consistent and intentional dedication to the overall employee experience,” said Sarah Lewis-Kulin, vice president of global recognition at Great Place To Work. She emphasized that Certification is the sole official recognition earned by the real-time feedback of employees regarding their company culture. “By successfully earning this recognition, it is evident that Longbridge Financial stands out as one of the top companies to work for, providing a great workplace environment for its employees.”
For professionals interested in joining Longbridge, the company offers an opportunity to build a career around a shared mission while joining a workplace where employees report high levels of pride, belonging and confidence in the organization.
