Montréal, Québec, Canada – October 26, 2026 – DonationClothingBins.com is highlighting its official partnership with CollecteDeVetements.ca to connect Montréal residents with free home pickup for used clothing, shoes and household textiles. The partnership complements the directory’s information about local clothing donation bins and centres, giving households another option when deciding how to pass along items they no longer need.
Residents looking for where to donate clothes in Montréal can consult https://donationclothingbins.com/clothing-donation-bins/quebec/montreal to research local drop-off locations. Those who would prefer to arrange collection from home can use the official pickup partner’s website at https://collectedevetements.ca/. The two services address different practical needs: finding a place to bring donations and requesting a collection from a residential address.
Home collection across Montréal
The pickup partner serves the Island of Montréal and eligible surrounding communities within a 50-kilometre radius of central Montréal. The service checks each exact address through the online form, so residents can establish coverage before completing their collection request. The stated radius is measured in a straight line, and surrounding municipalities are covered according to the address entered.
Residents can request a preferred date and time window online. The collection team then organizes the route and confirms the arrangements. A submitted request is not itself a confirmed driver visit, so households should retain their tracking information and follow the collection instructions before preparing items for handover.
Preparing bags for the pickup partner
Eligible residential collections require between six and twenty grocery-size bags or boxes. Accepted items include clean, dry clothing, paired shoes and household textiles such as sheets and towels. Bags and boxes should be securely closed. These requirements give residents a practical checklist when deciding whether home pickup fits the quantity and type of items they have ready.
The driver calls approximately thirty minutes before arrival. Residents should keep their prepared donations indoors until that call, then follow the agreed handover arrangements. This allows the household to prepare its bags without leaving them outside while a request is still being coordinated. The home collection service is free for eligible requests.
Choosing a donation option that fits the household
The partnership is relevant to Montréal residents organizing their wardrobes, preparing for a move or clearing storage space. Home pickup provides an option for households with several bags ready for collection. Residents who prefer to visit a nearby donation location can continue using the directory and check the receiving organization’s current opening hours and accepted-item instructions before travelling.
DonationClothingBins.com provides directory information, while CollecteDeVetements.ca handles the home-pickup request process through its service website. Keeping those roles clear helps residents choose the appropriate next step and consult the organization responsible for their selected donation or collection option.
